The Process
Thank you for considering Moments Photography for your family's needs! I am excited to work with you. Custom photography is a mutual investment. I will pour my time, talent and my very own heart into your photography session. We will work together to to turn your vision into a reality. My goal is to walk your through each step, taking out any guesswork on your part.
what to expect
Since no two sessions are alike, we will spend time before your session getting to know each other. We will chat on the phone or in person to help me know what time of images you prefer, what your home decor is like, and some questions about your family's personalities. We will also talk about locations and clothing choices.
during the session
I will arrive at your session in comfortable clothing, since I'll be moving around to get the best views. My style is very relaxed, patient and carefree. That type of style will allow your family to relax as well so we can get timeless images that you will cherish. Cheese is for pizza, not pictures! Seriously, though, don't ask your kids to say cheese! I won't either. Cheese is for pizza and macaroni, not timeless, emotive images. I do not aim to get every image of your child or senior looking directly at the camera with a perfect smile. Whils some of those have a place for the session, I will connect with you in a way to get soulful images. For children, that means playing with them and pulling out our imaginations about princesses and super heroes. For high school seniors, that means dreaming big about the future.
after the session
After the session is complete, you will go home to relax and that's where I will continue my work! I will carefully hand select the perfect images from our time together. Each image in your gallery will be edited. About two weeks after your session we will meet in the comfort of your home (or a local coffee shop if you prefer) to view your images and place your order. I will have samples for you to hold in your hands and we'll discuss and plan out the best way for you to display your images.
the goods
Your beautiful images will be printed at a high quality, professional lab and will be available for delivery about two weeks later. Specialty items, such as canvases and albums may take longer. Digital images will be downloaded onto a USB drive, it is your responsibility to bakc them up as needed.
